We Wear Heritage on the Runway

In a unique event We Wear Heritage was showcased at London Fashion Week 2024. Ten project partners participated in the We Wear Heritage fashion show on 16 September 2024. The event, facilitated by Best of Brazil in collaboration with the Jimmy Choo London Fashion Academy and student volunteers from the University of Westminster, brought the project to a wider audience.

Our partners brought individuals from their communities to walk the runway in a powerful display of cultural pride. Brent residents stood alongside models in a moving tribute, wearing the traditional garments of their ancestors and showcasing the craftsmanship and cultural significance of each piece.
